Almost House is a remote boutique and gathering space exploring the relationship between nature, commerce, and domestic forms. Situated within a mountain pasture, the structure questions the idea of a “house on a hill” — extending the gabled roof beyond the private residence and into the public domain. The two facades provide the impression of four floor existing within, yet, visitors gain access to two concentric staircases hiding a fifth floor.
