Sweet Auburn Fences

Sweet Auburn Fences is a research proposal for the Historic Auburn Avenue District of Atlanta. Through rigorous documentation, the project investigates the poetics of the fence throughout the rapidly gentrifying neighborhood.

Because of the somewhat repetitive image of the shotgun house typology, the only distinguishing factor of wealth is dictated by the quality, size, and upkeep of the fence.
